Roussos_1 copy Jerry Shellman, manager of Roller Bowl for 10 years fixes a jam of the sweeper in one of the bowling lanes. Shellman has lived in Athens all his life, and puts up to 12 hours everyday keeping up the maintence at the Roller Bowl. "Something new happens everyday, thats what I like about this job.

New Creations Taxidermy and Deer Processing

Roussos_Portrait:Personality_notpublished01 26.2 percent of Americans, about one in four adults, suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year. David Harrington is one of them. Diagnosed with depression, and bipolar disorder since the age of 12, he is trying to live a normal life. David sits outs of The Gathering Place and smokes a cigarette. The Gathering Place is a community of people who congregate together that have mental illnesses. His fingers are stained from the cigarette buds that he picks up to smoke everyday. Either from the ashtrays on top of trashcans, or on the side of the road if the bud is smoke able David finds it. “I don’t have any money to buy them, or if I did I would.” He explains.

Kayak Class

Water Zumba

The class is every Monday and Wednesday from 8:00-8:45pm, and cost $2 per class for students or $4 for the general public.

Pawpaw Fest
